The only robot in the warehouse wasn't even allowed to be photographed.
Let's go from the very beginning. Upon arrival in Frankfurt am Main, we went to a small village - Bad Hersfeld, where on the second day we visited Amazon warehouses.
FRA3 is the oldest Amazon fullfilment center in Germany. It got its name from its proximity to Frankfurt.
FRA3 stores mainly clothes and shoes and there are no well-known Amazon robots in this warehouse, they would not be able to select the required sizes and colors. Therefore, all the work: from selecting goods for order fulfillment to packaging, is done manually by warehouse operators.
The only robot we encountered looked quite modern, and its role was to move large pallets of goods as they were transported from warehouse to warehouse.
All Amazon warehouses have a very strict access on page seo service control system and photography and video shooting are prohibited. So, alas, we only have photos from the briefing. And we weren't even allowed to take a photo of the only robot in the warehouse.
In the EU and the US, there are no problems with withdrawing funds from PayPal to your local bank account. Ukraine is still lagging behind civilized countries and withdrawing from PayPal turns into a real dance with a tambourine.
Just one day to adapt a new employee
At Amazon, you can meet employees of almost all nationalities, including compatriots. Work processes are organized so well that only one day is enough for an internship and training of a new employee.
Amazon has an open policy in terms of wages. Everyone knows their partner's salary, which is somewhat motivating. But we are 100% sure that it is not the employees who take away the "lost" goods. You can't even take a photo out of an Amazon warehouse. There is an airport-like check at the entrance and exit... or even stricter.
The trip was a success. We are planning to go again.
We can say with confidence that the trip was a success. In addition to the Amazon warehouse, we visited 4 more cities, tasted national cuisine in authentic German establishments, walked along the historical streets of Stuttgart, listening to exciting stories of the Middle Ages.
We also climbed the Fernsehturm Stuttgart – the world’s first television tower built from reinforced concrete, which is a prototype for many towers of this type around the world.
